Honestly, I could probably show you photos of ruined and dilapidated buildings from any city in the world. Every city has its fair share of them. It is unfortunate that Detroit happens to be defined by its blight rather than its accomplishments.  As a city, we’re moving forward and working towards cleaning up our image. There has been a lot of progress, but sadly the media tends to ignore...

DETROIT
hight-and-irons: I am happy that people are paying attention to the city of Detroit. It would however be nice to see more photos and projects featuring people assisting in the regeneration of it. It’s one thing to stay there for a week snap some photos, It’s another to get involved and support the people that are looking for a brighter future in Detroit.  just sayn.
